What can I say about this movie - a classic Clint Eastwood cowboy film. Forget your brokeback mountains and watch a movie made in a time when Men were Men (the seventies). Though not a film for feminists I did note - there are only two women in the town of Largo, both are raped by Clint, justified by the fact they loved it after a few minutes of screaming, Emily Davison must have been spinning in her grave. In fact you are left feeling a little uneasy by the fact the principal hero that you are rooting for is a murderous bullying rapist. But the film does have Mordecai an oppressed but happy dwarf, and all the bad guys (that is most of the cast) get brutally murdered in the end, so all is forgiven.
 

I just love this movie - you will too. No real story, just compelling to watch, fantastic sequence at the end that keeps you smiling for hours after. You walk away from this movie with a warm heart and an urge to watch it again. It is just one of those movies. Watch it.

Closing Comment: I will make it my life's work to crack the secret of time travel in order to get back the 2 hours THIS FILM STOLE FROM ME while I sat there on the sofa bemused - shaking my head - and wondering WHY JOHNNY DEPP WHY DID YOU AGREE TO BE IN THIS FILM!
